Description
An overview of human anatomy through a series of readings and assignments. A systemic approach is used to examine tissues, skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, systems. Upon successful completion of this course in human gross anatomy students will have an understanding of the fundamental concepts, terminology and basic structure of the human body. In the second half of the course we will look at the relationship of anatomy to dance practice and begin an introduction to basic concepts of Dance Kinesiology.
